Watercolor and gauche applied with hand & airbrush to 129 lb watercolor paper. Original is 19” X 19” Painted in January 1985.
Animals can sometimes be a nuisance, defecating and urinating about the house. Sometimes you'd like to kick the crap out of your loveable little pet. However, you do not … because you love it … your darling little vermin pet. In this case, painting my anger toward my beloved cat was certainly a better way of releasing my hostility than actually becoming violent. Who among us pet owners can honestly saw “I have NEVER raised a hand in anger towards my pet.”? Few, very few. Here’ I found a way to have my cake and eat it too, (No, I did not eat the cat!) This painting is not sold. Prints are available. Black T-shirts with this image are available. |
